When CraftMaster Homes first started building in Powhatan, we knew that we wanted to give back to the community in a significant way. When we heard about the Barks, Bourbon, & Bronze fundraiser, we knew we wanted to be a part of it! The fundraiser, which is in it's 4th year, raises money for Powhatan Animal Control and helps fund their mission of protecting animals and helping them to find new and loving homes through adoption and rescue. 

Held at Three Crosses Distilling Co, guests at the event enjoy delicious cocktails, great food, and enter to win multiple prizes through a raffle that helps to raise money for the shelter. This year, the goal of the fundraiser is to help the program purchase new cages for the rescued dogs and cats. Guests also bring much-needed material donations of food, bowls, leashes, and more which go to help not only the shelter but also the Powhatan community through Animal Control's "Pet Food Pantry." 

In addition to donating $1,300 to the fundraiser, CraftMaster provided multiple bags of dog and cat food, leashes, cups for visitors to enjoy their beverage of choice, and gave a "S'more to Love Giveaway" including a wood-burning firepit, s'mores fixings & roasting sticks." We loved seeing such a great turnout at the event and meeting all of our neighbors.
